With this alternative surgical vasectomy option, instead of having to make two separate incisions a single piercing is used (a bit like an ear piercing) in order to gain access to your vas deferens. Your vas deferens are then interrupted using a very fine cautery wire and a layer of connective tissue is placed between the two ends to divide the vas deferens tubes and form a barrier to prevent them rejoining. A tiny titanium clip then holds everything in place. No stitches are required and the opening heals within a few days without leaving any noticeable scar.

This vastly improved vasectomy method, known as the no scalpel open ended vasectomy technique, significantly reduces the risk of complications compared to traditional methods. It is worth noting that most men who undergo this procedure can typically return to work within two days, indicating a relatively short recovery period and minimal disruption to their daily routine
